Who cares?

Why do you care? About those memories? About fitting in?

You don't need to be accepted by a group of people to be a valuable person. This is a problem men have now that they have more than ever, getting caught up in their own bs. Go work out. Go make something. Clean up. Write some lyrics, record some music, do something. Take that feeling of sadness, turn it to drive, anger, and do something. Idle hands are always up to no good. You've won the lottery. You're a male in a first world country. You can do so much but you'd rather sit there and feel bad about yourself. Again, why?

I had to get things out of my system. I did drugs and partied for a few years. Now, I focus on my work to keep me sane. Men need hobbies. It occupies the mind.

#COTI is ruining my life.

Recently I (26) started dating wayyyy out of my usual type. A good Christian girl (22) with ambitions for a family, a steady income, a young marriage, and sweater-vest autumn family pictures. She loves to quilt, knit, and make candles. She's head over heels for me, idk why, I think she's kind of going through a bad boy phase and I'm the closest thing she can find to a badass cause I have arm tattoos and I brood a lot, idk.

She's been bugging me for a couple weeks to come meet her family. This week she gave really good head and it made me realize I have some genuine, serious feelings for this girl. So I was like "ya know what ok." She had me come to a family dinner. Fine, free dinner? h--- yeah. I'm having a really nice time meeting her family and talking to them. They seemed like super cool people, living the hamptom dream. Hampton house, hampton spouse, hampton blouse, hampton mouth. I was talking to her dad, who owns a construction company. He seemed hella cool. But then her mom joined us, and that's when problems began.

She comes at me all passive-aggressive like "oh I'm sure you've had LOTS of girlfriends," trying to find out if I'm a manwhore. I had been listening to a lot of COTI lately, so I blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

Her mom's eyes go wide, eyebrows s---t up to the f---ing ceiling. Her dad gives a slow upwards nod with furrowed eyebrows like they do in those fancy tv shows when someone says something stupid, like I just did.

I start sweating. I legitimately like this girl and I just said that I would throw her in a sleeper. There's no way these people would no that's the best compliment I can give a girl. God f---ing dammit.

But it gets way, way worse.

We're eating dinner later, and suddenly the sweet little granny slaps her forehead with goes all old lady "Oh nooo!" Everyone goes all quiet and this poor little lady stands up all distressed. "I forgot the crescent rolls!"

My instincts were triggered. I kicked my chair out from under me in my haste to get up. I jumped onto the table and sprinted to where granny stood, my feet flinging gravy and mashed potatoes and baked beans all over my girlfriend's family. I build up speed and flying sidekick granny full on in the face, screaming:

"COTI ALBUM OF THE YEAR f--- DRAKE !"

I fell on top of her with my head in between her boobs, as if Joss Whedon himself directed it.

Needless to say that's where the evening ended for me. I apologized and shuffled towards the door. Couldn't even look my GF in the eye.

Her dad escorted me to the door. "Why don't you get going home, my man?" He said. He put a paternal hand on my shoulder and guided me outside. "I like you man, but I think we just gotta give it some time." I'm like yeah man I understand, I really like your daughter, I think I was just nervous. He looks me in the eye and says,

"She likes you too. In fact, I think she loves you like 50 Cent loves Kidd kidd." That's when I realized her dad was Lloyd Banks. This was Lloyd Banks secret white family.

So, my buddy from high school met a girl online from thailand about eight months ago. They started 'dating' and about four months ago she convinced him to move to Thailand to take care of her family. He has a pretty large inheritance he got from insurance from his parents dying in a car crash. So in Thailand westerners can't own land, so when he bought a house for them he had to give her the money to put it in her name.
Last night we were talking and he said she won't ever have sex with him or be around him naked, and she says its cause they aren't married and he thinks its a cultural thing. He said she does give him head.

What's the easiest way to tell him that hes dating a guy and just bought him a house?

Idk how old y’all are, but I’d imagine I’m a bit older than most (mid 20s) on here. Was hanging with my folks the other day, they started our family pretty late in life. Both my parents in their 60s and we were just having fun watching random stuff on tv when it just hit me like what life is gonna be without my parents.

Idk bout y’all, but I’m DUMB close with my parents. We didn’t grow up with much but they gave everything they had to us, and moved mountains to fulfill our needs. From 7 onwards tho my dad got a baller af job and we never really struggled after that. But I still remember what it was like before. Now we all live near them, but all out the house. And d--- dude, helpin my parents do things they used to do all the time lowkey breaks my heart. Seeing them age too. Man even thinking bout only us kids being here and my parents both gone kills me man. I lowkey wanna prepare for it, because I feel like when they both go I’m going to be depressed AF. Neither of my parents were close with theirs, so they made sure they did everything they could to have a strong relationship with all us kids. And aside from one who’s a screw up, they do. And even the screw up they still love to death and would do anything for.. Just that person isn’t in the right place mentally atm..

Anyways.. I just wanna know if y’all have any ideas how to prepare. I’m not saying it’s coming soon, but with my parents health I honestly don’t see 15 more years.
