Well it is more contagious than the flu and lasts longer and infects more people. The hospitalisation rate is higher. The global death rate is currently at 4% I think but scientists believe it will end up settling to 1 or 2 %. Maybe a bit higher or lower but either way it will be higher than the flu's 0.1% death rate. Numbers change since it's just happening but it's worse than the flu for sure. Also bear in mind the current hospitalisations and deaths are happening with all the worldwide shutdowns and quarantine. They'd be stupid high if we just let it do it's thing like we do with the flu
It's not just because we don't have vaccines and aren't immunised yet. The virus itself is more aggressive than the flu and particularly more resistant to immune systems. Even with vaccines and all, if you're old or immunocompromised you'd still rather have the flu than coronavirus. It's also killing more 50 to 60 year olds than the flu and hospitalising even more. "Underlying conditions" doesn't mean already dying or bed ridden. It's anything from simply hypertension or asthma or smokers or diabetes or fat a----s. In fact how many Americans DON'T have some underlying condition? Fact is it's worse enough than the flu in that it will k--- people who otherwise wouldn't have died from the flu
So when you say millions die from the flu each year, that doesn't change the fact that coronavirus can be adding millions more to that list. So I don't see the point of that argument
Besides no one is saying this will be the new plague and wipe out half the word or whatever. The panic isn't about extinction it's because even 1% dying within a short period is still something hospitals can't handle. And 1% is the good case scenario it can end up being 2 or 3% in some places. That's the death rate but the hospitalisation rate itself is an even more r-----ed amount that would completely overwhelm hospitals which it's already doing even with the shutdowns. Hence the situation we're in now to isolate people to try slow the infection rate to a manageable rate. Shutdowns and lock downs are the main concern for most people. It's economically devastating the longer we stay in these shutdowns. No economy can handle this for too long.
It actually makes you wonder how long the governments of the world are willing to let the economy burn until they have to make a decision between the economy and everyone's livelihood or corona patientsLast edited: Mar 28, 2020 -

I think people don’t realise that not everyone who’s annoyed with anti vaxxers and anti maskers and lockdown rule breakers are bleeding heart libruls who are afraid they and everyone they know will die. Some of us are actually pieces of s--- who don’t care about that what we want Is just things to go back to normal. And since the govt decides when things go back to normal, rebelling against these things only prolongs it. Even for governments, people dying Isn’t the main concern in itself, it’s the chaos that would happen if we just let it go unchecked. Even with restrictions hospitals are overwhelmed. A massive rapid unchecked and untreated covid would skyrocket the hospitalisation rates so much that not only would there be bodies piling outside hospitals, it would devastate all aspects of the economy, businesses, jobs, medical, infrastructure, schools, military etc. Hospitalisation rates are higher than death rates. Those who die are just a small percentage of those hospitalised.
Do you think the governments of today’s globalist capitalistic world actually want a world like it is now in constant lockdowns, travel bans, benefit payouts to those missing work, business closures etc? It’s their literal worst nightmare. The only reason they’re be willing to sacrifice the economy this way with restrictions and want enough people to get vaccinated isn’t to get rid of the virus and ensure no one dies again, it’s to bring it down to a manageable level that won’t overwhelm the system. Because while this hurts the global economy, the alternative would hurt it even more.
Saying “people die every day for all sorts of reasons” is entirely missing the point. So yes, even if world leaders and corporations etc only care about themselves and profit, bringing the virus to an acceptable manageable level is in their interest as well as the economy as well as the average citizen both low and high risk.
I’m sure Psizer and other vaccination companies are stoked at such an opportunity to make and sell a product in such a sudden and massive demand. But as with every other disease that used to k--- us by the millions which we now don’t take seriously anymore because of vaccines (which have always had cases of people dying from it, though an irrelevant minuscule amount compared to those dying from the disease itself), it’s in the general population’s best interest that as many people get vaccinated as possible. Again, not necessarily to stop the virus from killing you, and even if you don’t give a s--- about you infecting others, but for the whole bigger, global picture, of life returning back to normal ASAP. It’s something literally everyone on earth has in common. Governments, citizens, corporations, militaries, drug cartels, terrorists, hookers, school kids, actors, janitors and all other walks of life. That they want (whether for good or bad intentions) for this s--- to be over with asap
Rebelling against the system in this case is stupid because this time it’s for everyone’s benefit. You may decide to ignore rules and not wear your mask, ignore lockdowns or gathering restrictions, ignore basic hygienic advice like sanitising your hands often, and not getting vaccinated because you aren’t a “sheep” like everyone else. But you aren’t achieving anything. The restrictions you hate will still be there. They will only get more severe. You’ll be legally required to wear masks (already the case in some places), you’ll be arrested for violating lockdown rules. All the things you’re protesting against will only get worse. Because like the rest of us, you’re still a powerless sheep. Either start an armed revolution to overthrow the government, or just get your dumbass back in line with the herd so you can have your ‘rights’ you care so much about back.
Not everyone has to get vaccinated but a lot do. And since most governments can’t forcefully vaccinate people, if we’re having trouble meeting an acceptable number of vaccinations recommended by health officials before we can ease restrictions, the govt will certainly make your life difficult to indirectly force you to get vaccinated. You may need it to be able to travel. Even for certain jobs or schools and universities and even certain sports or entertainment venues could require vaccination proof. You’d be second priority in hospitals.
All you’d be doing is proving how powerless you really are when you begrudgingly finally go get the vaccine.
Obviously it’s not like there’s a very specific number and would be down to a single particular person to have to get vaccinated. But it’s an example if the majority of people had this anti-everything mindset that would delay the easing of restrictions. And it’s a reality that vaccinations will be required for certain things especially international travel and even some domestic policies even after things get more or less back to normal.
so, the f--- you gonna do about this tyranny? Gonna actually do something or?Last edited: Aug 5, 2021 -

Get out of the "friend zone" mindset. Remember that no one has the obligation to date you, f--- you, be your friend, or even LIKE you. Be the best you you can be, put yourself out there, if it's clear the girl isn't interested move on to someone else. Also being friends with women is sweet. @Swizz @reservoirGod @Papa Andy let's give him the benefit of the doubt.
WhiteHouse.gov immediately wiped pages on LGBT rights, civil rights, climate change, and health care from its “issues” section after Donald Trump took the oath of office.
The page on climate change was replaced with a page entitled “An America First Energy Plan” that ignores climate change entirely and says, “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule.”
The new “America First Foreign Policy” page made no mention of Russia or China, insteading discussing the defeat of ISIS and the renegotiation of NAFTA and other trade deals. “If our partners refuse a renegotiation that gives American workers a fair deal, then the President will give notice of the United States’ intent to withdraw from NAFTA,” the page read. The same language was repeated on the new “Trade Deals Working for All Americans” page on Whitehouse.gov.
The page on civil rights was replaced with a page entitled “Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community” that replaces concerns with how police act with a demand for more cops. It also paints predominantly black inner cities as shooting galleries.
“In our nation’s capital, killings have risen by 50 percent,” the page claims, which is false: homicides in Washington, D.C. were down in 2016 over 2015.
