Aug 25, 2016 you can't seriously be using Control as a reference. the "beef" only started when drake thought control was a diss
Aug 25, 2016 Control wasn't a diss, I'm not trying to say it was, but wouldn't you say it was at least a warning shot? He basically told every big rapper in the game to raise their level. I don't blame Kendrick for that or for Drake feeling some type of way about it, but if Kendrick doesn't say Drake's name on that track the situation never gets this far.
Aug 25, 2016 but it was a friendly diss. it's not like he was telling the rappers he named were trash. really really don't know how drake got offended by it.
Aug 25, 2016 True. Drake wasn't the only one to respond though, Cole did on his verse on the TKO remix. Maybe it's just a lite skin thing idk.
Aug 25, 2016 This interview could actually spark the beef a bit more. Let's say Drake is the one that was running his mouth. Well Kendrick would know that it wasn't him. And Kendrick could write a couple lines trying to provoke drake. I really really want to see this beef go under way.
Aug 25, 2016 Kendrick > Drake With that being said, Kendrick is for all intents and purposes an "album rapper," so I don't know if he'd actually destroy anyone with a diss record
Aug 25, 2016 this sounds like a Drakes camp move and I'm inclined to believe Drake started it... Kendrick Lamar is always careful with words in his interviews so its hard to believe he got heated and lost his temper saying some s--- about Drake.
Aug 25, 2016 drake took offence to a general warning kendrick responded with the bet verse e.g. stop being so sensitive
Aug 25, 2016 drake put kendrick on the disrespect to name drop someone to step there game up that put u on is hurtful feel like u guys dont look into context at times @Poohdini is right but yall wont listen
