The family lying about having kids and significant others was done several times in the show, Hal tripping balls and feeling useless as a father, all the cameos doing the same gimmicks. Whether you find it funny or not it one thing but saying it’s nothing like the show is a lie because it’s a rinse and repeat of gags from the show. It’s nostalgia
