    True DOOM and related rappers are doing well with the hipsters but I know significantly more black people who know about Doom, Quas, Stones Throw etc etc than white people

    Because the fans who generally hold certain rappers in the highest esteem while disregarding others are some of the most annoying fans in music. Literally the easiest fanbase to piss off next to Em stans.
