Lil B isn't as concerned with, uh, the rapping part. Him and Kool definitely incubated in the same Bay Rap culture that led them to it though. Very similar styles with different emphasis.
Kool AD's entire style is build around improvisational, stream of consciousness rapping. I don't think anybody else has taken it to where he's taken it.
i mean, there are very few rappers who either always write their raps or never write their raps. there's also a difference between jay's process and people who just freestyle. and the truth is most peoples' approaches are a combination of the two: most people write a lot, and then change things in the booth/try things that weren't written.
