Mar 22, 2016 These attackers aren't "Belgian". They have been radicalised and Belgium seems to be safe house for a lot of terror cells. Belgium as a country is not responsible for radicalisation. That has come from elsewhere. This attack is just ISIS trying to achieve it's goals. There will be many more.

Mar 22, 2016 again, thats not what i meant. i meant indiscriminate terror against the population of western states. Holocaust was meant to k--- all jewish people in order to form a new world order. People were systematically deported and killed. Nagasaki/Hiroshima were meant to get Japans surrender, two cities were completely destroyed. The difference is that Japan was already in a total war, everybody was somehow influenced by WW2. That doesnt justify anything, but WW1 and WW2 were on a whole other level than the war on terror, which is mostly taking place in the middle east. People here are not directly influenced etc.

Mar 22, 2016 i think they are more or less destroyed by now (thanks putin). but taking the Afghanistan war into consideration, I dont think that western governments have a solution to win such an asymmetric war with ground troops. when it comes down to sending a symbol, i think a ground war against isis might happen (when they get strong again)
