May 24, 2016 @DKomamura you must not follow football, and that's perfectly fine. the reason i brought it up is because tim tebow use to be a national football league quarterback. he's also a hardcore christian and he strongly believes in no sex before marriage. so although he's currently 28 years old, he's never had sex, and he's dated a couple of very attractive women. this thread reminded me of tebow. i'm not even kidding, google "tim tebow virgin"

May 24, 2016 There are numerous studies that prove religious beliefs and IQ are inversely correlated. Believe what you want, but I hate to see someone miss out on life experiences because of something a few dudes wrote down some 2000 years ago.. Based off folk tales and myths that have been copy and pasted from other "religions" since the beginning of time. I lean more agnostic than anything. My religious beliefs are "Do everything I can to smile as often as possible because our entire galaxy is going to explode someday and nothing we ever did will ever matter". I genuinely believe in being a good person because it makes me happy, not for imaginary heaven karma points.

May 24, 2016 Like @JFK I would consider myself agnostic as well. Raised Catholic btw and confirmed. There are some atheists who are very arrogant, but I rather be made fun of by some prick than molested by a priest or murder someone for my beliefs. When you live in a society where some try to enforce their religion into laws and rules, I guess it can make you an a------. Imagine if I just met you and told you I just found a book that was written 2000 years ago where this hippy had magical powers and that if you didn't believe and abide by this books rules, you would go to a fireplace where a red guy with horns chases you around. I'd hope you would tell me to kindly f--- off. Just like we make fun of newer religions (mormons and scientology) for making no sense and then disregard our own. Do you not find it weird how we are all born into our religions? Very few people change their religions, and if they do it's for social acceptance. I hope that wasn't an arrogant response and helps you to see why people like myself find it insane people believe in these types of things. I would recommend anyone to watch Bill Maher's Reilgulous
