Jun 26, 2016 I posted extensive proof of this and you got laughed off the board for a month lol you're only back because you don't have any shame or self-awareness lol
Jun 26, 2016 do you agree that transgender people shouldnt be allowed to compete with whatever gender they changed to in sports?
Jun 26, 2016 umm... so its ok if transgender dudes go ahead n KO females in boxing and MMA? testosterone testing doesnt have to do with the actual structure of the body, that won't be changed, the bone structure and such. thats why I have a problem with that. There is undoubtedly an edge in that sort of situation
Jun 26, 2016 Testosterone has tons to do with muscle mass and fast/slow twitch composition. If M-to-F transgender people want to compete in womens' categories, and they are legally registered as women, and their testosterone is at or under the legal levels, I'm all for it. For the record I was a college athlete at a school with a big LGBT population and my track coach and a visiting physiologist gave a presentation on this that was pretty convincing. If you switch genders in that direction, it takes a long time and lots of hormone reassignment therapy to get to the point where you'd be legal to compete.
Jun 26, 2016 Yeah but it's not just muscle mass and twitch muscles.. I'm talking about the actual bone structure and the size of men compared to females. I mean, their testosterone likely wont be at the same level, because that woman was a man before, but those arent the only factors. Its really just not fair. Yeah I'm not OK with that
Jun 26, 2016 Bone structure has basically nothing to do with athletic performance though? I dunno anything about the video you posted, and frankly I don't know enough about MMA to know what the regulations are like to begin with. I'm thinking specifically about team sports and about measured athletic stuff like swimming, track, etc.
Jun 26, 2016 Bone structure most certainly has to do with athletic performance.. Cmon man. Definitely in contact sports. Or basketball, where height would be advantageous. Fallon Fox is a transgender female MMA fighter. Use to be a man. None of the major organizations will allow her to fight. rightfully so. Fox has been knocking out all of "her" opposition with ease because its essentially a man KOing women. I was thinking contact sports and stuff like MMA, boxing, even baseball or soccer. Women will get hurt here.
Jun 26, 2016 "extensive proof"? Lol you are a delusional individual who makes s--- up to fit your agenda. When was I give off the board for a month?
Jun 26, 2016 Maybe you didn't leave for a full month but you definitely laid low for a bit--either that or retreated to the Eminem section to lick your wounds. I posted dozens of quotes of you referring to yourself as black, using the n-word, etc lol
Jun 26, 2016 You posted dozens of quotes saying I said I was black? OK buddy if you say so. Why would you even spend time searching my post history? You take this forum s--- too serious bruh
Jun 26, 2016 http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/3/2...-discusses-possible-advantages-fallon-fox-has It's actually very complicated, and I believe that the Olympics actually takes these on a case by case basis. In this particular instance, Fox might potentially have an unfair advantage over the females she faces, because she developed all the way into adulthood as a male. There would be increased musculature, and an increased ability to build muscle, so an advantage might be present due to years of conditioning and becoming more masculine, which includes differences in endurance and strength. The male body develops differently, both in skeletal structure and muscularly. When pitted against an average female, I would say that there were probably some advantages that the hormonal blockade and subsequent replacement can't take away 100%, simply because she lived so much of her life as a male, and developed fully as such.
Jun 26, 2016 @BigDickBastard no offence, but your avi/name combo kinda makes it seem like youre overcompensating for something..
Jun 26, 2016 It does, in the sports you mentioned though bone structure isn't that big a factor. But like Lamont was trying to say, in MMA it's a huge factor. For example bone structure determines the size of your fist/space between knuckles. So there are obviously people with giant hands that hit harder on a larger surface area and people with smaller bone structure and hands, that don't hit as hard, but hits a smaller surface area where the force is more concentrated.
