Jun 27, 2016 Well dude you have to remember that historically (and still today, look at Orlando), being gay or trans or whatever could lead to you being black balled by employers, shunned by your family, beat up, even killed. So it's not like gay people are starting from an even playing field and saying "Let's have parades so everyone knows we're different." It's supposed to be a defiant thing that confirms their identity, and highlights their existence, because historically the powers that be (so to speak) want to deny the existence of any gay community and brush every individual under the rug as a deviant.
Jun 27, 2016 i think a lot of people in general are, not just women. it's just that straight is the societal norm and it's just really getting challenged now
Jun 27, 2016 How unimportant is that detail lol It's like the first thing you'd think off when hearing about transgender people is in which bathroom they'd go
Jun 27, 2016 Ok, but i think its the norm because the majority are straight. this thing about every f---ing girl i know being part les probably has to do with the hormonal instability of teenager girl. I think female sexuality overall is a bit more fluid i what im asking to confirm. I personally don't mind homosexuality overall. I do have an issue with people trying to physically change genders as they are trying to be something they will never truly be. Simply accept whatever gender you were born as. It's no different than a man feeling ashamed to be a human and trying to be a chicken, and trying to change hat species he is.
Jun 27, 2016 No actually it is very important if you are talking about transgender people competing in sports, where they obviously have an advantage You understand how bone structure would influence athletic performance right?
Jun 27, 2016 No it's not important at all, really not. Please stop trying to say it does. Nobody should care, and it should never be the first thing that comes to your mind when someone brings transexuality up. There are way bigger problems for transexuals than what sport to practice if they want to be a professional athlete, or which public bathroom they should go in.
Jun 27, 2016 Also it's soooooo easy to say "simply accept what gender you were born in" when you're not in a position where you feel bad everyday about what you are.
Jun 27, 2016 You know absolutely nothing about sports or science if you think bone density does not influence athletic performance. Seriously. Nobody should care if women are getting knocked out by transgender men. LOL
Jun 27, 2016 Bone Density Here's the thing. Estrogen is what actually causes bone growth. It's not the testosterone. Men convert testosterone peripherally to estrogen. That's why we think that men who have low testosterone levels become osteoporotic. It's not because of the lack of testosterone, but because that lack of test can't be converted to estrogen. When men go on hormonal blockers for other health concerns, they can get osteoporosis, but they're not getting estrogen. So here you have a man, who was on hormonal blockers to block testosterone, but is now taking estrogen, which is then going to prevent osteoporosis, so there wouldn't be a great percentage of bone density loss, per se. Males have higher bone density and higher mass skeletons than females. It takes a long time for that to diminish. Typically, you're looking at about 15 years after androgen suppression and SRS to really start to see significant changes in bone density. It's been too early for her to see much of a decrease in bone mass or to make her equal to that of a female. She started off with a much higher bone density than other women her same age, and therefore will maintain a lot of that for a while. Additionally, because she is taking estrogen, that will actually help to maintain that bone mass. She may even carry that higher density much longer because of the estrogen therapy. Women also have lighter, child bearing hips because of the difference in hormones during the body's developmental years. Her skeleton and body mass and shape developed a long time ago. Those changes cannot be undone. They are permanent.
Jun 27, 2016 But they are. the biological reason for having a penis is to put it in a woman's cat. Not to be f---ing some man in the arse. I'm an atheist, so i don't follow this 'God oradained' bs. But science says that being straight is the reason human have reached this far. Because biologically men are better built to masculine things and women better built to do femine things. this goes as far as brain chemistry. And as it stands humanity was dependent on the contribution of both genders together.
Jun 27, 2016 I indeed know nothing about the importance of bone density in sport, I don't give a f--- and I never said bone density wasn't important. Why are you even bringing this up? I mean if you're a big woman MMA fan and half of the best MMA females are transgender men then yeah maybe you could worry about it but it definitely isn't the problem to fix when it comes to transgender people.
Jun 27, 2016 Then why the f--- are you quoting me about a subject you know nothing about? I was talking about the potential of mismatches and danger if you allow transgender people to compete in sports of their "changed" gender, particularly in women sports.
Jun 27, 2016 Ok, but why would you feel about being a man or a woman. what's bad with being either that would make you wan't to change. You can decide who you are, but you can't change 'what' you are. this reminds me of a few years back when a poular artiste here took skin colour changing drugs to have a lighter complexion. That enlargened an already growing trend of darker skinned people feeling insecure about their skin color and taking skin damaging drugs (and homemade remedies (equally as bad if not worse though)) and making a f---ing mockery of themselevs and our country. You people must live in terrible abundance to have money to waste on such things. For adults to be so insecure about their sexuality. Be gay if you wan't but surgery is a little unneeded and exteme. Puberty is failing our species.
Jun 27, 2016 I'm quoting your post because I just wanted to inform you that you're worrying about something that is absolutely unimportant compared to other issues transgenders face
Jun 27, 2016 No actually I am worrying about something that will hurt women in sporting events. Jesus you are f---ing clueless.
Jun 27, 2016 If you woke up with a female body tomorrow, wouldn't you want to be a male again, and wouldn't you slap anyone who told you "girl just accept it, be lesbian if you want to but a surgery is kinda extreme and a waste of money" That's how transgenders feel
Jun 27, 2016 the fact that you are more worried about transgender people having their feelings hurt, compared to women getting knocked out by transgender men in MMA matches speaks volumes about what you consider important
