    There's always going to be the "new generation" of rappers and there's always going to be the traditional rappers. I think the one main reason these "newer" generation rappers blow up is because of exactly that - they're new. They're different. The traditional rap is always gonna be there. It's not going anywhere. There's always gonna be a Vinnie Paz or an Immortal Technique killin the underground etc. These newer guys are rapping on new production and doing different s--- covering different topics and appealing to different demographics.

    You could argue it's one of the best things for hip hop's growth. Like I said the traditionalist rappers will always be around. These new generation rappers are reaching different areas and allowing the genre to grow. Plus people want new s---, they want fresh s---. This isn't the same old style again.

    I'm not as big a fan of the new guys as many others here but that's my observation.
