I think as far as mainstream goes the same ppl who've been killing it the last few years (future, migos, thug, etc) will continue to do so. Regardless of your personal feelings about it, x is definitely on the come up (personally I'd like to see Ski or Smokepurrp get some of the spotlight too.) Lil Peep, Lil Pump, Famous Dex, Doe Boy (Forever or Never coming soon!!), and Fauni (I'm sure I'm forgetting a few) all seem to be gaining momentum and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them as xxl freshman in the coming years. Ugly God and Carti are both primed to blow but need to hurry up and f---ing drop their tapes already.

    Obviously Eminem

    (Or Future and Kendrick)

Thug has dropped two masterpieces in the last two years, I honestly think he's hit a peak, which will ofc mean a decline sooner or later. (please prove me wrong thugger)

I think he's too much of a rapper's rapper to be a pop icon or anything, but at 21 he's on a crazy pace. Always worry he's gonna die young though.

Dex made the flow that Rich, Ugly God, 21, Trill Sammy, and Boat all use to different extents. He was big before he was "Famous Dex" he used to be Black Migo Dex but switched up to be more positive @Soldier @JIGGA MANE

man internet rap has changed so much since I was in high school. when I graduated I was listening to main attrakionz, das racist, spaceghostpurrp, and the cool kids. this s--- way different now lmao. everything reminds me of sgp with a mix of whatever the current rap trends are.
i feel like sgp lowkey/highkey influenced half the s--- going on right now

Sgp has influenced at least 50% of the current soundcloud rap scene but at the same time he's alienated himself from the whole community. His affiliates like chxpo and syringe are dope but I don't think they'll ever blow.

Yeah I was heavy into SGP from early 2011 till middle of 2013. I didnt realize Raider Klan was mostly lil weaboo kids so I stopped listening to them and just stuck with SGP till about the time they put out Tales from the Underground. I felt that aside from "Petro" the album was pretty bad and wasn't worth the time I spent being a fan so I stopped f---ing with SGP altogether. Blackland Radio 66.6, God of Black, and BMW classic tho.
He was a real friendly, positive guy till the ASAP beef. Like his personality on Twitter was legit almost exactly like Lil B. He was well liked across the internet by a lot of rappers. The bad publicity from the Klan x ASAP beef ruined his career.
