    (AllHipHop News) The Weeknd took to social media to share a major accomplishment with his fans today (January 22nd).

    The hit Toronto singer’s video for his song “The Hills” had finally reached a total of a billion views according to Republic Records’ EVP of Marketing, Jim Roppo.

    The billion views for “The Hills” puts The Weeknd on a list of artists like Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, Taylor Swift & Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Pitbull, who all have videos with a billion views.

    The video for The Weeknd’s other hit single “Can’t Feel My Face” is approaching the 750 million views mark, while the video for “Starboy” featuring Daft Punk has already cracked 500 million views, since being released in September of 2016.
