Apr 16, 2017 I wouldn't exactly call motm 'modern' or 'rap' It's more production/melody focused in my mind and in a couple of years it's gonna be a decade old What exactly do you not like about the first one?
Apr 16, 2017 I liked it a lot at the time but revisiting it now is just cringeworthy, the production is fine but the writing is super f---ing melodramatic and feel like it was pieced together from the facebook timeline of a white suburban teenager. Not really a fan of Cudi as a vocalist either, he's capable in small doses but his actual attempts at singing are tonedeaf.
Apr 16, 2017 "Man on The Moon: The End of Day" is a very solid album. 8.5 out of 10. For how ambitious Scott Mescudi was on his incendiary music release, it neither disappointed, nor underwhelmed me one bit. I received it in a generally positive manner, as far as initial listens are concerned. However, "A Kid Named Cudi" is still his magnum opus. It's a mixtape. I know that's going to "Grind the Collective Cudi Connoiseurs' Gears" because it is a mixtape, but that is not my fault, buddy.
Apr 16, 2017 MOTM is a classic. I still listen to a few songs every now and then. Where would Hip-Hop be today without these two:
