    With all these people bitching about hip hop needing Drake hits, I better see them give Drake a number 1 hit from this album that stays in the top 40 for at least a month or else they were all just whining to whine. Kinda like the Lil Wayne fans who whined about him not getting the Super Bowl halftime show but then let his new album completely flop. I’m starting to see a pattern here:thinkinghmmm:

    that’s not how hits work. They can push and it coult still flop. Drake’s huge hits were huge because they were fun and catchy

    Yeah I hate that ideology. That Rap needs 1 singular star to stay relevant. Drake fans are crazy. Back in the 2000’s we had multiple stars all thriving with hits. OutKast with Ms. Jackson, Nelly with Hot in Here, Ludacris with Move b----, 50, Me, ect. Even back in 2006 people act like hip hop was dead even tho it was still as relevant as ever with Ride and Dirty, Lil John, T.I. All having platinum hits and crossing over on pop radio too. Drake ain’t the reason rap is declining, it’s the fact there are literally no rap stars making major hits. Lil baby, Da baby, 21, Jack Harlow all of them lowkey fell the f--- off. I feel future and Drake the only ones that can drop a 400K first week album right now and have a global smash. It’s the competition pool being smaller. Marsh don’t get that tho

    That's because Ludacris, Lil Jon, T.I. Nelly 50 etc aren't trash like carty, lil yatchee, jack harlow, little baby etc lol

    No you're not lol we had great artists in the early 2000s, nowadays the new generation is Lil Baby, Gunna, Migos, DaBaby, Travis, Uzi, Fagty and a bunch of whack females lol

    Makes no sense because Wayne is from the south. And he blew up to the top around 2007/2008ish. T.I. Also. And didn’t Wayne basically put Drake on, who ended up as the biggest hitmaker of the last 15+ years. The South didn’t really make rap go downhill. New York beefing and putting out mid compared to them did.
