(Disclaimer; This isn’t Paul stealing your ideas, I am genuinely curious. Love Marshall) 1. My Name Is…. 1st act Obviously the first breakout single and introduction to the world of slim shady. This should be the opening song instrumental of the movie and used in promotional marketing leading up to the film release. With the first 15 minutes of the movie detailing the early stages of moving to detroit from Missouri, Meeting proof in highschool, the circuit, Uncle Ronnie, and boogie & Malcom and Issac jumping em for his bike and betraying his friendship as a kid. They can do like the Micheal movie and speed rush this stuff and just say that where his first resentment and anger management problems bloomed. Leading to uncle Ronnie giving him the Ice tea and the wizard cassettes introducing Marshall to hip hop. 2. I Just don’t give a f---…Infinite saga This next part of the movie details Marshall in the mid 90’s battle rapping at the shelter and working on infinite as his debut. Show the perspective of how rappers would judge him as one of the few white boys in the circuit, but then when he spits and battle raps he wins all his battles. Show how dj’s in detroit didn’t wanna spin or support infinite. Use just don’t give a f--- as the song choice for this montage sequence of battles. Parallel to him working at restaurants after infinite flopped. 3. Guilty Conscience… The Slim Shady Era This act of the movie starts with the story of how em got 2nd at the rap Olympics and was ready to quit but Dre got hold of his demo tapes. Leading to Dre signing the white boy, and the start of the Phenomenon that would be Slim Shady. This part of the movie is go a little more in depth with Paul, Dre, Interscope Jimmy Lovine plan to support Em as the next face of hip hop. Basically similar to the Micheal movies 2nd act. Using songs from the Slim Shady LP as the background music for this part of the movie. Also this where we see some behind the scenes footage of those music videos for guilty conscience, forgot about Dre, My name is. Ect. 4. The Real Slim Shady! This part of the movie shows the unprecedented massive backlash the U.S. public had for Eminem following the slim shady phenomenon. As the more popular em got, the more critics and complaints about his image to the youth who bought his music grew. TRSS & Stan should be the signature songs of this part of the movie, as it shows the massive hype and record breaking era that was MMLP. 8 Mile filming and D12 exploding album sales are in this part. 5. Without Me… The Eminem Show continues The end of the 2nd act of the film, shows The entire Eminem show era, the beefs with Ja/BenZino/Source Magazine Fueds/ and Eminem fully a Global Superstar balancing fame and pressure of surpassing MMLP. I like to see a making bts of Superman & Without Me music video. And use White America as background song for storytelling parts about how the public still criticize Eminem influence on pop culture. 6. Just Lose It…. Encore Just lose it as silly as the song is, is a perfect song to use to show the life of Eminem going wild publicly. Whit the whole Kim re-marriage, The Racist tapes controversy, and failing to make an album with hits as good as the Eminem show. Leading to more drug use to deal with stress. Songs I’d use is obviously mockingbird. And end this section of the movie on a toy soldiers as proof homage. 7. When I’m gone….King Mathers? During this part I would use Smack that or when I’m gone as it was his only hit songs during his hiatus. Perfect time of the movie to explain why em went on hiatus and the media making rumors of cloning, the gaining weight, the depression, proofs death, the relapse, and the mystery of what happen to Eminem.i would end this on the Smack that music video set where he spilt water on the playboy girl from girls next door show. Showing Marshall is relapsing back to shady 8. We Made You… Relapse The title card for this part of the film is pretty direct, as we start speed running through MV’s of the relapse era. More serious tone of the movie as Marshall voice overs why the relapse back in 2007 forever changed his style. Live the way you like as the next signature song in this part of the film. Relapse & recover go hand in hand. Recovery was the true commercial return of Eminem as it was the top selling album of 2010. A new form of confidence sets up the 3rd and final act of the film 9. Rap God 3rd act covers MMLP2 to TDOSS all in about 45 minutes. Starting with the shooting of Rap God and the virality of the fast rapping. Covering shady15, Southpaw, and revival being a panned mess. Leading to Kamikaze Venom & Killshot as the songs for this era. Ending this part of the movie with em about to step on stage at Wembly stadium 2019 as walk on water plays to the crowd. 10. Godzilla Music to be murder by & TDOSS era wrap up the last storytelling parts of the film as the legacy of Eminem reaches Gen Z. Tiktok viral post of mockingbird, Godzilla, Houdini music video shows em reaching new younger audiences. Montage section of Eminem impact and influence from 1999 to 2027. 11. Guess who’s Back?! The Movie seemingly ends but record scratches after a fade to black, and Walk on water ending “b---- I wrote Stan” and the Grammy’s live footage Stan performance with Elton John plays. 12. The Way I Am Footage from 2001, Eminem The Way I am Peformance plays, fading out with dozens of rappers over the years talking about his impact and influence. 13. Marshall Mathers End the movie on a post credit of Marshall Mathers song playing, with nostalgic photos and videos of Eminem at concerts, fan events, MTV TRL, ect.
