And not in a good way either. Sam Levinson got lucky with season 1, pretty much everything else he’s done has been god awful. As someone who loved season 1 and was even pretty excited for season 2 before I knew how bad it would be, I’m not excited for season 3 at all and these trailers did not help. At this point I’m only watching to see how much of a disaster it will be, not because I think it’s going to be good.

As someone who has been completely shi--ing on season 3, I must say episode 1 wasn’t so bad. In fact, I actually kinda enjoyed it. I expected something much, much worse. As I predicted, it feels like a completely different show. However, Rue is still very much Rue, and I’m looking forward to seeing how her faith in god progresses throughout the season.
