May 30, 2026 at 12:27 AM That’s my biggest problem with the trailers for supergirl. It just looks ok. Like something from the 2010’s era of Comicbook movies. We are so past that, and if a casual saw this trailer they would just roll their eyes and say oh another superhero movie. Studios need to start changing and adapting for the times if they want the genre to thrive. Like the first Superman trailer was awesome because it had a tension to it, it had emotion but also it was memorable with the whole Superman looking like Yamcha. And the dog stuff was Gunn’s staple. But keeping the cute dog carrying the brand can only work so much. DC studios really running it into the ground
