Jul 6, 2026 at 6:05 PM I heard months in advance the new consoles would be $1000. And if you’ve been paying attention, it’s very obvious they’d be making these moves. PlayStation been trying to get rid of discs since the PS5 came out with a version that doesn’t have a disc tray. And then there’s that other version that has a detachable disc tray sold separately. It’s all about softening up the public over time to these ideas. The Xbox One had all that DRM s--- back in the day too. Xbox been pushing the cloud heavy. It’s all been heading in this direction.
