If certain threads are ignored -- for any reason -- until something's formally reported, that's a moderation "culture" call. It's just how s80 does it, that's all. No babysitting. I translated what you said about mod enforcement here into what happens for us civilians playing in the sandbox. The need for formal reporting with the button wasn't clear to me. Because mods & admin do post, I had the impression that a lot of the dumb stuff DID get read and was acceptable because it was left up. I really am just trying to clarify what's ok here, what isn't, and what gets dealt with.

You can also just tag us obviously. If I read the thread and see 5 posts with pics of mayo and a fat turd, as a poster thats not my thing -except on occassion-. But most posters itt seem to find it funny so why would I delete? Same with random lyrics, or social media posts about sales etc. But if we get a report and I see 2 posters going back and forth for pages long: I usually either ban both or neither. Exceptions possible ofc. Also, 'us playing in the sandbox'. We are not some men in suits sitting in a tower watching over you guys with a bat and gun in our hands lmao. We are posters here just like you and have an extra task moderating. We delete/ban bots and spam on a daily basis, thread(ban) people if needed but no, I refuse to actually be a babysitter to a bunch of people in their 30's.
