Pretty simple question, who is your favorite producer of all time and why? Also what is your favorite beat that they made? I dont want to hear who you think is the best producer in the game at the moment, just who your personal favorite producer is of all time.

    Go!

    My vote: Dr. Dre

Reason being, he has created some timeless classics that will live on forever, and he has put some of arguably the biggest names of rap out there (snoop, pac, em, 50, game, k dot and the list goes on). I got into rap around 1999-2005. Everything that Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit were putting out there at the time was untouchable. Classic after classic after classic. It was that era and what they were doing that got me into rap. You could argue that if it wasnt for Dre starting the Aftermath label, all that may have not happened. Anyway my favorite track that Dre produced is...

This song will never get old to me. Timeless classic. Kurupts verse is f---in crazy, then Nate Dogg comes in with arguable the greatest s--- of his career and has me all like :banderas:

Honorable mentions: Lay Low, In Da Club, Str8 Westcoast, Losin Your Mind, Westside Story.

Not including Chief Keef or Young Chop...

Out of what's available I'll go with Dre and Kanye. But I mean I delete "produced by" on the song titles though, so unless I go hunting to see who produced a track, it mostly goes unknown to me.

    RZA, based on influence alone.

Though if I had to listen to one's discography solely based on instrumentals and their enjoyability, I'd pick Madlib.

d--- no love for J Dilla.

If I had to chose I probably would go with DJ Premier. I love his old school sound and I can almost always recognize if a beat is his.

Dr Dre's mixing is so smooth. Playing 2001 on any device sounds crystal clear.
